The first weekend in April 2024 belongs to the annual big sporting event - the ČSOB Marathon organized in Bratislava. The marathon also includes a half marathon and other running events.
      This year, members of the Special Operations Forces (SOF) did not miss the opportunity to represent the Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic at this event and to do something for their health and improve their fitness.
      "This year I did not take part in the ČSOB Marathon of this royal discipline - the marathon, because I focused my preparation on the Rajec Marathon and the International Peace Marathon in Košice, where I would like to fight for the highest podium," said the 6-time champion in Slovak marathon, captain Sylvia Šebestian, serving in the 5th Special Forces Regiment, who together with her colleagues from the Special Operations Forces Headquarters, took part in the ČSOB Half marathon.
